career and comes to Ballina Town with 14 years of high-level experience on the sidelines.
Announcing the appointment, Ballina Town FC chairman Simon Beale said: “Alan is a highly qualified
coach and we are delighted to have secured his services. He brings a huge degree of experience to the role
of first team manager and we are excited to see how the players develop under his leadership.”
Mr. Beale acknowledged the input of former manager Mark Beattie under whose tenure the team finished
in second place in the 2021 and 2022 Super League campaigns and won this year’s Westaro Super Cup.
He also paid special tribute to former assistant manager Aidan Cowan for his unstinting dedication to first
team affairs over the past two seasons.
The first assignment for Alan Henry as Ballina Town FC first team manager is a Connacht FA Junior Cup
